Children in Need Appeal - Tuesday 16th November 2004

Kidz Avenue held a "Party for Pudsey" to celebrate 25 years of Children in Need Appeal.

It was a wonderful success - with all the donations counted so far we have collected over £200.00!

The Pudsey Bears were won by Holly and Erin for an amazing £57, and Charlotte with a fantastic £50. Thank you to all those involved!

Dancing with the children???

Yes I know we all keep fit by dancing with the Tweenies with the kids but if you'd like to do more but don't have a babysitter then look no further!!! There is a special class on every Thursday 10-11 am with a free creche at Newbiggin Sports Centre (standard prices apply).

Wansbeck Toy Library and Newbiggin Learning Initiative - Thank You!

All of us have enjoyed the wonderful toys supplied by the Toy Library in recent weeks. We are pleased with the fantastic range provided and they have agreed to visit us every fortnight. They have made a real effor to provide creative activities enjoyed by the children too. This is being funded by Newbiggin Learning Initiative so we would like to take the opportunity to thank both groups for their support and funding.

So remember to join up and you could enjoy the toys in your own home from 10p - 50p for a whole fortnight (even the big stuff!).
